A shared hot tub, sauna, ice bath and gym, included with your room

These spaces are shared by everyone staying in the house, and they're just for booked guests. There's nothing extra to pay, whichever of the rooms you choose.

Hot tub

Seats five, kept at 38°C, out in the backyard under the lights. Open 7am to 10pm.

Please rinse off first, using the outdoor shower if you need it. Swimwear only, no fake tan, no glass, no amplified music. Children must be supervised by an adult in the water.

Take care. Take a break every 15 minutes or so and drink plenty of water. Not after alcohol. If you're pregnant or have a heart condition, please check with your doctor first. Get out if you feel too hot or light-headed.

Ice bath

A cold plunge at 3°C, facing the hot tub. Open 7am to 10pm. Rinse off and ease in slowly. Go only as deep as feels comfortable.

Take care. Adults only. Start with 1 to 2 minutes. Never use it alone, after alcohol, or if you have heart or blood pressure conditions. Get out straight away if you feel dizzy, very numb or unwell.

Infrared sauna

Fits four and works straight away, with no warm-up. Open 7am to 10pm. Fresh towels are right beside it: one for the floor and one for the bench. There's a phone holder on the door and a Bluetooth speaker inside, so keep the volume down for the house.

Take care. Stay in 15 to 20 minutes at most and drink water. Not after alcohol or if pregnant. Children only with an adult, and for a shorter time. If you have a heart or blood pressure condition, check with your doctor first. Get out if you feel dizzy or unwell.

Commercial-grade gym

Downstairs, free for guests from 7am to 10pm once you've signed the waiver. Dumbbells from 1 to 50kg, kettlebells, a Smith machine, leg press, squat rack, benches, cables and spin bikes.

Massage chair, pool table and laundry

The massage chair is in the gym and you can use it any time, including outside gym hours. Clean clothes and socks please, with no food or drink on the chair.

The upstairs lounge has a professional 9ft pool table, cues on the wall, a big corner couch and board games. Headphones are the go for music in shared spaces.

Laundry is three washing machines and a dryer with free laundry powder and a clothesline.

Outside

The front yard sits behind a 1.8m fence, with a grey gazebo, outdoor lounge and garden paths. The backyard has sun loungers and another outdoor lounge. Smoking and vaping are only allowed under the gazebo out front, never indoors.
