House rules and questions before you book

We share this house with our guests, so these rules keep it easy for everyone. Please read them before booking.

Shoes

No outdoor shoes inside. Please take them off at the door.

Visitors

Registered guests only, with no visitors. The gym, hot tub, sauna, ice bath and pool table are just for booked guests.

Quiet hours

10pm to 7am, upstairs and downstairs. No kitchen use after 10pm, especially cooking.

Parties and drugs

No parties and no drugs.

Smoking

Strictly no smoking or vaping indoors. Use the grey gazebo out front.

Pets

Guests can't bring pets. Two ginger cats, Leo and Pancake, live here and will probably say hello.

Shared spaces

We don't charge a cleaning fee, so please keep the bathroom, kitchen and other shared spaces clean.

Hot tub, sauna, ice bath and gym

Please shower before the hot tub. Sign the digital waiver before your first gym session. The hot tub, ice bath, sauna and gym are open 7am to 10pm.

Common questions

Is the whole property mine?

No. You book one private room. Rooms 1 to 4 share one bathroom and the upstairs kitchen. Room 5 has a full ensuite and Room 6 has its own shower, and both share the downstairs kitchen with us. The hot tub, sauna, ice bath, gym and pool table are shared by every guest.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is any time from 2pm, and check-out is 10am.

How do I get in?

Self check-in with keypad locks. We send your code before you arrive.

Is there parking?

Free street parking out front. There is no dedicated parking and no spot is guaranteed.

Is there a swimming pool?

No. The pool here is a pool table. Langlands Park Memorial Pool is about 1 km away.

How many people can stay?

Up to 2 guests per room.

Can I bring children?

Children are welcome, and they count toward the two guests per room. The ice bath is adults only, and children need an adult with them in the hot tub and sauna.

Is it noisy?

The house is calm and quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. We're close to the train line, so you may hear a train now and then. We supply earplugs for light sleepers.

Are you there during my stay?

We live on site and we're around most of the time if you need a hand, a local tip or help finding anything. Otherwise we'll give you space.

What will I pay?

Airbnb and Booking.com show the full price for your dates. We don't charge a cleaning fee or an amenity fee.
